Job summary

Eversource Energy in Massachusetts is seeking a first-level supervisory leader for gas service operations. You will oversee non-exempt crews, plan field activities, and coordinate with contractors to maintain installation and maintenance of meters and piping.

Emphasis on safety, performance coaching and regulatory compliance. The role includes emergency response, on-call supervision, and traveling between MA/CT/NH as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in applied sciences or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) or more years in field service or utility operations.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Operator Qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and inspect work of employees engaged in meters, piping and customer premises.
• Inspect contractor work on piping and appliances and ensure safety and quality.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and on-the-job training to staff.
• Direct work planning, resource scheduling and coordination with customers and departments.
• Respond to emergencies and manage storm duty assignments.
