Job summary

Eversource is seeking a first-level supervisor to lead field crews in the gas service territory. You will plan, schedule, inspect and coordinate meter installation, piping work and customer premises tasks, while ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, monitoring performance, addressing customer concerns, and coordinating with contractors and other departments. Travel between MA/CT/NH and on-call storm duty are required; a valid driver’s license and Operator

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences or equivalent experience.
Five (5) or more years of experience in field service, utility operations or technical discipline and/or customer service experience.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Valid Motor Vehicle Operator License is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain required Operator Qualifications.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule and inspect the work of employees engaged in installation and maintenance of meters, company piping and work on customer premises.
Inspect the work performed by contractors on piping and appliances.
Direct the work planning process including preparation and prioritization of work plans for scheduling of resources.
Coordinate activities with customers, constituents and company departments for optimal resource utilization.
Assume on-call supervisory assignments as required and storm duty assignments.
