Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a seasoned Gas Distribution Supervisor to oversee field maintenance, construction, and on-site operations across Massachusetts. You will coordinate crews, ensure safety, and manage outages with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role requires five+ years in gas distribution or related utility operations, supervisory experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Travel across MA/CT/NH and SCBA/ PPE use are expected.

Qualifications

Knowledge of gas distribution system design, operations, maintenance and construction principles.
Project and schedule management using computerized tools.
Familiarity with labor contracts and compliance requirements.
Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency with PC desktop applications (Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

Plan, organize and manage gas maintenance and construction field workload.
Supervise in-house crews and contractors on gas distribution projects.
Communicate with customers and community officials about construction and operations.
Serve as on-scene supervisor during outages and classify gas leaks.
Participate in on-call rotation and manage unionized crews.
