Job summary

Talisman is expanding its engineering function to standardize design, manage OEM and supply chain exposure, and support complex customer commitments in North America’s gas-fired generation market.

As Director of Engineering, you will own the technical design basis, lead multi-site delivery, and build a team that scales with the project pipeline while maintaining strong relationships with OEM partners and EPC service providers.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; PE preferred.
• 10+ years in mechanical or electrical engineering leadership for gas-fired, multi-MW projects.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating EPC/OEM partners across projects.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design basis for gas-fired generation packages including gensets and fuel delivery.
• Lead engineering delivery from concept sizing to detailed design and commissioning support.
• Establish repeatable plant configurations and equipment standards for multiple sites.
• Build and lead the engineering function, defining team structure and external partnerships.
• Act as senior technical authority in commercial pursuits and energy service agreements.
• Set technology strategy and manage OEM relationships and lead-time in turbine supply.
