Job summary

Eversource Energy in Massachusetts (Auburn) seeks a experienced Gas Operations Supervisor to oversee field crews, manage maintenance and construction, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate outages, supervise in-house and contractor teams, and communicate with customers and officials on service delivery.

The role requires strong scheduling, project oversight, and leadership in a unionized environment, with on-call rotation and travel across MA/CT/NH as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gas distribution design, operations, maintenance and construction.
• Strong scheduling, project management and materials management skills.
• Working knowledge of labor contracts and union environments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient with PC tools (Word, Excel) and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage gas maintenance and construction field workload.
• Supervise in-house crews and contractors ensuring safety and quality.
• Communicate with customers and officials about service delivery and outages.
• Act as on-scene supervisor during outages and classify gas leaks.
• Participate in on-call rotation and supervise union crews.
