Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Gas Maintenance and Construction Supervisor to oversee field workload, coordinating internal and contractor crews for gas distribution systems. The role requires independent supervision, safety compliance, and effective communication with customers and officials.

The position involves on-call rotation, outages response, and travel within MA/CT/NH, with emphasis on ensuring quality workmanship and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering/related field.
• 5+ years of gas distribution, field service design, or utility operations.
• Experience supervising internal teams and contractors.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain Operator Qualifications.
• On-call rotation, safety-sensitive role, travel between MA/CT/NH.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage gas maintenance and construction field workload with accurate coordination and scheduling.
• Supervise in-house crews and contractors in gas distribution operations.
• Communicate with customers and officials about utility construction and service delivery.
• Serve as on-scene supervisor during outages and classify gas leaks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and labor contracts.
