Job summary

Eversource in Auburn, MA is seeking an experienced Gas Maintenance and Construction Supervisor to lead field crews, plan and schedule work, and ensure safe, compliant operations across gas distribution systems.

The role requires 5+ years in gas distribution or related utility ops, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, and strong communication. On-call rotation and travel between MA/CT/NH may be required; SCBA and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in Gas Distribution, and/or Field Service design and/or installation, servicing customers or utility operations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required Operator Qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and manages the Gas Maintenance and Construction field workload through accurate coordination and scheduling.
• Exercises independent judgment in the supervision and oversight of in-house crews and contractors engaged in operation, maintenance and construction of gas distribution system.
• Communicates with customers and community officials concerning all aspects of utility construction, operations, maintenance and service delivery.
• Participates in the supervisory on-call rotation and directs the work of internal work crews.
• Ensures safety and compliance with regulations, standards, and company procedures.
