Chesapeake Utilities Corporation seeks a Project Coordinator for gas distribution projects with values up to $1M. The role is hybrid and within a commutable distance of West Palm Beach, Debary, Winter Haven or Yulee.

You will guide cross-functional teams through project lifecycles from initiation to budget tracking. The position requires three years in utility project coordination, a valid driver's license, PM knowledge, and strong communication and scheduling skills to deliver on milestones and

Qualifications

• Three (3) years utility project coordination/management experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Knowledge of project management and project construction invoicing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong communication, networking and teamwork.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans; maintain relationships and resolve issues during the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams; manage gas distribution construction projects valued at $0.5–$1M.
• Monitor progress to timelines; suggest budget adjustments and report weekly.
• Develop project schedules and brief leadership on milestones.
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal and Company safety requirements.
• Apply PM skills to address issues and resolve unforeseen challenges.
• Understand external regulations and requirements.
