Job summary
Chesapeake Utilities Corporation seeks a skilled gas operations professional to lead complex below-ground installations and repairs in the West Palm Beach area. You will use GIS and company technology to plan emergency maintenance, guide field staff, and perform critical tapping, stopping, welding, and leak investigations on gas pipelines.
You will communicate with customers, document work orders, and contribute to regulatory compliance and DIMP reporting.
Qualifications
- Natural gas industry experience is required.
- Ability to lead and develop field personnel.
- Experience with emergency response and on-call duties.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex below-ground gas installations and repairs.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation as first responder.
- Plan repairs with GIS and company technology.
- Develop and coach field staff in below-ground skills.
- Perform tapping, stopping, and welding on gas pipelines.
- Document, analyze, and report abnormal operating conditions for compliance.
- Support DIMP reporting and other work documentation.
