Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation seeks a Project Coordinator for distribution projects. Hybrid work arrangement within commutable distance of West Palm Beach, Debary, Winter Haven, or Yulee.

You will oversee gas distribution construction projects valued at $0.5-$1.0M and coordinate cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 3 years of utility project coordination, a valid driver's license, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Three years of utility project coordination/management experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of project management and construction invoicing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate gas distribution construction projects ranging $0.5–$1.0M.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams through project lifecycles: creation, budgeting, monitoring, and adjustments.
• Monitor progress against milestones and budgets; report to leadership monthly.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and company safety requirements.
• Read and interpret project plans; resolve issues as they arise.
