Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee gas distribution projects valued between $0.5–$1M. The role involves coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring safety compliance within a hybrid work arrangement located within commutable distances of West Palm Beach, Debary, Winter Haven or Yulee.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of utility project coordination/management experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong skills

Qualifications

• Three years of utility project coordination/management experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of project management and construction invoicing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams; coordinate gas distribution projects valued between $0.5–$1M.
• Monitor progress, adjust budgets as needed, and hold weekly team meetings.
• Develop project schedules and brief leadership monthly on progress toward timeline and budget milestones.
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal and Company safety requirements.
• Apply project management skills to address unforeseen issues and resolve concerns.
• Maintain awareness of external regulations and requirements.
