Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Gas Maintenance and Construction Supervisor to oversee field workload, coordinate internal and external crews, and ensure safe, compliant operations across the gas distribution system.

The role requires 5+ years in gas distribution or related field, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and supervisory experience. Moderate travel, union workforce oversight, and on-call responsibilities are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Gas Distribution or related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Operator Qualifications.
• Safety-sensitive role with pre-employment and random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and manages gas field workload with accurate coordination and scheduling.
• Supervises in-house crews and contractors engaged in operation, maintenance, and construction of gas distribution system.
• Communicates with customers and community officials regarding utility construction, operations, maintenance, and service delivery.
• Acts as on-scene supervisor to outages and responds to and classifies reported gas leaks.
• Ensures safety, compliance with procedures, and coordination with on-call rotation; participates in hiring panels and reviews billing for accuracy.
