Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services seeks an intermediate level Field Technician to operate compression packages, gas processes, and rental equipment. You will support location policies, forecast materials, and backfill as needed.

Role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with compressor packages, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Candidates should be prepared to travel and work on-call, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years compression, production, and equipment experience or training.
• Completion of Kodiak SSE program and 1–2 years in an entry level Field Technician role preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of compressor packages and systems.

Responsibilities

• Directs and performs job activities per Kodiak procedures and objectives.
• Troubleshoots complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Builds and maintains customer relationships; analyzes parts and inventory.
• Ensures 98%+ mechanical availability and participates in HSE meetings.
