Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services seeks an intermediate level Field Technician to operate compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment. You will support location policies, forecast material needs, and assist other field roles as needed.

Minimal qualifications include a high school diploma, 3+ years in compression/production, and strong mechanical aptitude. OEM/industry certifications are preferred, with a focus on teamwork, communication, and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• SSE program completion plus 1-2 years in an entry level Field Technician role preferred.
• 3+ years compression/process experience and related training.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and performs field activities per Kodiak procedures and goals.
• Troubleshoot repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Builds and maintains customer relationships.
• Communicates parts and inventory needs to Supply Chain for availability.
• Ensures 98%+ mechanical availability of equipment.
• Provides 24/7 coverage and participates in on-call rotations.
