Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services LLC is seeking a Shop Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair natural gas compression equipment. You will inspect, service and repair compressors, engines and related systems while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with technical training preferred, and a minimum of two years’ experience in similar mechanical systems. Strong diagnostic and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in maintenance and repair of natural gas compression equipment or similar systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment; commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on natural gas compression equipment, including compressors, engines, and related systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including parts, time, and work orders.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety training and meetings.
• Collaborate with Shop Manager and other technicians to resolve equipment issues and improve efficiency.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
