Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of natural gas compression equipment or similar mechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on natural gas compression equipment, including compressors, engines, and related systems.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify problems and ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and time spent.
• Collaborate with Shop Manager and other technicians to address issues and improve efficiency.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety trainings.
