Job summary

Upper Darby School District Garrettford Elementary School is seeking MTSS Tutors for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is a 10-month, part-time position at $38.63 per hour, with up to 700 hours per school year.

The MTSS Interventionist will support reading, math, behavior, and SEL interventions and help develop a district-wide MTSS framework. Responsibilities include coordinating interventions, identifying students for Tier 2/3, delivering strategies, and guiding staff on MTSS implementation.

Job Description

MTSS Tutors are needed forGarrettford Elementary School for the 2026-2027 School Year.

10 month position / $38.63 per hour up to 700 hours per school year.

The MTSS Interventionist will provide direct intervention and progress monitoring for students who need support in reading, math, behavior, and social-emotional learning (SEL). You will be responsible for assisting with the development of a systematic school-wide approach to MTSS.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of academic interventions for students in need of support towards meeting course standards.
• Uses data to identify students for Tier 2 or 3 intervention support.
• Delivers research-based strategies and techniques to support students individually or in small groups.
• Assist teachers and instructional staff in addressing student learning using the MTSS framework; provide guidance on strategies, tools, and techniques to effectively teach all students

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree
• Valid state certification
• Knowledge of the MTSS model and how to implement interventions
• Knowledge of current research on academic interventions
• Experience working with and developing programs for diverse groups of students
• Ability to analyze data and use data to drive decision-making
