Upper Darby School District seeks an MTSS Interventionist for Bywood Elementary School. This 10-month, part-time role centers on direct reading intervention and building a district-wide MTSS approach.

You will analyze data to identify students needing Tier 2 or 3 support and deliver targeted, research-based strategies in small groups or individually, collaborating with teachers. Compensation is $38.63 per hour, up to 700 hours per school year.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Valid state teaching certification.
• Knowledge of MTSS framework and how to implement interventions.
• Experience analyzing data to inform decisions.
• Experience developing programs for diverse groups.
• Ability to deliver reading interventions in small groups or one-on-one.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate implementation of academic interventions for students in need of support toward meeting course standards.
• Use data to identify students for Tier 2 or 3 intervention support.
• Deliver research-based strategies and techniques to support students individually or in small groups.
• Assist teachers and instructional staff in addressing student learning using the MTSS framework; provide guidance on strategies, tools, and techniques to effectively teach all students.
