Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in California to support the Store Manager with store operations, guest service, and sales culture. You will help ensure products are visible and easy to buy, train staff, and drive guest loyalty while maintaining a clean, organized store.

Responsibilities include managing daily transactions, promoting promotions and loyalty programs, and supervising staff when needed. A high school diploma is required; some college or degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and assist guests with gaming needs.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS accurately.
• Promote GameStop guest benefits and loyalty programs.
• Supervise Sales Associates in the absence of Store Manager.
