Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Store Manager will manage and lead in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, and promote promotions.
• Support the total shopping environment, including visuals, operations, and guest relationships.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS with accurate transactions and receipts.
• Promote GameStop guest benefits and loyalty programs.
• Recruit, interview, hire, develop, and retain high-performing associates.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and compliance before shifts; reinforce store policies and safety.
• Communicate with District Manager to implement store initiatives; train staff on policies.
• Schedule and supervise staff; manage breaks and shifts to optimize guest service.
• Approve payroll and time off; ensure accurate timekeeping and deposits.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization; manage inventory and loss prevention.
• Lead team to meet sales, profit, and shrink goals; complete administrative duties.
• Balance daily transactions and bank deposits; ensure cash on hand and correct closeouts.
• Verify shipments; conduct inventories and report discrepancies.
• Handle recalls/stock pulls; label and include packing lists.
