Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations across a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service and greet guests promptly.
• Support the shopping environment, sales initiatives, and guest relationships.
• Process guest purchases/returns accurately using POS and provide receipts.
• Respond to guest questions in person or by phone with courtesy and professionalism.
• Promote GameStop benefits such as reservations, trade-ins, and Pro Rewards.
• Recruit, interview, hire, develop, and retain high-performing associates.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and compliance before shifts.
• Communicate with District Manager to implement store initiatives.
• Schedule staff, manage breaks, and ensure adequate coverage.
• Approve payroll and manage paid time off and time edits.
• Provide feedback and maintain organized store records and inventory.
• Lead the team to meet or exceed sales, profit, and shrink goals.
