Job summary

GameStop is seeking a store associate with a strong guest-service orientation to greet guests, answer questions, and guide purchases. You will operate the POS system, process transactions, and promote rewards programs while supporting store operations and staff development.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, and prior retail experience. Flexible hours, a team atmosphere, and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide best-in-class guest service; respond to questions and concerns quickly and courteously.
• Assist guests with meeting video gaming needs and inform them of promotions.
• Process purchases/returns using the POS system and provide receipts.
• Escalate guest issues to the Store Manager when needed.
• Promote GameStop benefits and loyalty programs to guests.
• Assist Store Manager with training and onboarding of associates.
