Job summary

Fortune Bay in Minnesota is seeking a Gaming Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of Table Games, Poker, Bingo, and Pull Tabs. You will directly supervise staff, handle staffing, scheduling, performance, training, guest service, labor control, regulatory compliance, and daily operational execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field, or 3+ years of casino gaming operations experience.
2+ years of supervisory or management experience in casino gaming or related operation.
Experience in more than one area of gaming operations is preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Direct and manage daily operations of Table Games, Poker, Bingo, and Pull Tabs.
Lead supervisors, leads, and frontline staff including scheduling and coaching.
Hire, promote, transfer, discipline, and train staff.
Manage labor and staffing based on business volume.
Maintain visible management presence across shifts and respond to issues.
Oversee game protection, cash handling, inventory and equipment availability.
Monitor activity to improve game utilization, participation, and revenue.
Assist with achieving gaming revenue, labor, and financial goals and communicate trends.
Collaborate with Marketing and Player Development for promotions and events.
Ensure professional guest service and address guest concerns promptly.
Ensure compliance with Tribal Gaming Regulations and internal controls.
Work with Compliance, Surveillance, Security, Finance, HR and others to address needs.
Report compliance concerns and assist with audits and corrective actions.
Develop, implement, and review gaming policies and SOPs and internal controls.
Conduct meetings with supervisors to maintain consistency and provide updates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
