Job summary

Fortune-Bay-Resort-Casino in Minnesota is seeking a Gaming Operations Manager to lead daily operations of Table Games, Poker, Bingo and Pull Tabs. You will supervise staff, manage staffing, scheduling, training, guest service, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Under the Director of Casino Operations you will drive performance, collaborate with Marketing, and implement policies to improve revenue and guest experience while maintaining internal controls.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field, or 3+ years of casino gaming ops experience.
• Minimum 2+ years supervisory or management experience in casino gaming or related operation.
• Experience in multiple gaming operations areas preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily operations of Table Games, Poker, Bingo and Pull Tabs with staffing, game availability, guest service and procedures.
• Lead supervisors, leads and frontline staff with scheduling, staffing, attendance, performance, coaching and development.
• Participate in hiring, promotion, transfer, discipline and training decisions.
• Manage staffing and labor based on volumes and needs, monitor overtime and stay within budgets.
• Maintain visible management presence across shifts and address guest concerns and operational issues.
• Oversee game protection, cash handling, inventory, documentation and equipment availability.
• Monitor activity to improve game utilization, guest engagement and revenue.
• Assist in achieving gaming revenue, labor and financial goals and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Player Development to support promotions, tournaments and events.
• Ensure compliant guest service and regulatory requirements are met across operations.
• Report significant compliance concerns and assist with corrective actions.
• Develop and review gaming policies, SOPs and internal controls.
