Job summary

Bois Forte Band in Minnesota is seeking a Director of Casino Operations to provide executive leadership and strategic oversight of all gaming departments, including slots, table games, bingo, and pull tabs. This role ensures compliance with NIGC standards, tribal/state compacts, and internal controls while driving revenue optimization and guest service excellence.

The position reports to the General Manager and supervises the Gaming Operations Manager, with responsibility for budgeting,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience plus 7 years in gaming operations with 5 years in leadership.
Strong knowledge of casino operations including games, player tracking systems, and slot/table game dynamics.
Ability to analyze data, forecast trends, and implement solutions.
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance across gaming.

Responsibilities

Provide executive direction for all gaming departments with emphasis on efficiency, compliance and guest service.
Supervise and mentor the Gaming Operations Manager overseeing Table Games, Bingo, and Pull Tabs.
Review KPIs, staffing, profitability and operational effectiveness across all gaming verticals.
Oversee slot floor management, game mix strategy, and equipment performance.
Ensure compliance with MICS, payouts, asset tracking, and documentation.
Budgeting, forecasting, staffing plans and capital expenditure proposals.
Lead staff development, training, and readiness to support service quality.
Collaborate with Marketing to align promotions and player engagement with operations.
