Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall Cumberland is seeking a skilled Supervisor to lead gaming floor operations and provide coaching, scheduling, and guest service oversight. You will ensure compliance with regulations, assist with staffing decisions, and respond to guest needs with professionalism and a calm demeanor.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision, coaching, support, and guidance to team members to ensure operational standards and guest service expectations are met.
• Assists with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and retaining gaming team members.
• Supports performance management efforts, including coaching and progressive discipline as appropriate.
• Monitors gaming floor operations and addresses operational concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Promotes the Mint Rewards Card program and assists with player card enrollment initiatives.
• Maintains a visible presence on the gaming floor, builds positive relationships with guests, resolves guest concerns, and ensures the delivery of exceptional guest service.
• Assists with the approval of jackpots, fills, and other gaming transactions within authorized limits.
• Monitors gaming terminals and coordinates support with technicians when issues arise.
• Assists with bill jams, voucher jams, and other gaming floor operational needs as necessary.
• Supports compliance with gaming regulations, Title 31 requirements, internal controls, and company policies.
• Helps safeguard company assets and maintain the integrity of gaming operations.
• Communicates operational concerns, maintenance needs, and guest service opportunities to the Gaming Manager.
• Serves as the acting Gaming Operations Manager in the absence of the Gaming Operations Manager, assuming administrative and operational oversight of the HHR Department and exercising delegated authority to make staffing, operational, guest service, and compliance-related decisions necessary to support efficient property operations.
• Maintains awareness of property promotions, special events, and operational initiatives.
• Conducts shift huddles and communicates important information to team members.
• Assists with preparing shift reports and documenting significant operational events. when assigned.
• Promotes a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Provides BIG Service to guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
