Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall at Cumberland is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage leader to support the VP in quality, cost control, and inventory management. The role oversees beverage service on the gaming floor and property bars, directing FOH managers and staff, and ensuring consistent production across all venues.

Applicants should have 5+ years of management experience in beverage and food service, and be able to obtain a Kentucky gaming license.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years previous management experience in both beverage and food service.
Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
Ability to work a variety of shifts, including day, swing, late-night, weekend and holidays.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

Support the VP of Food and Beverage in quality, cost control, and inventories.
Respond to inquiries regarding the financial performance of the F&B department.
Monitor and ensure that operating procedures are met consistently.
Oversee the flow of beverage service on the gaming floor and at all property bars.
Provide day-to-day leadership to FOH Managers and staff.
Ensure recipes, measurements, and prep standards are followed for consistency.
Adhere to opening/closing checklists and secure storage of products.
Inspect areas for safe, sanitary handling and proper labeling/dating.
Maintain knowledge of products and rotate stock properly.
Research and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
