Job summary

Light & Wonder, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician for the third shift in New York to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic gaming machines at casino sites.

You will perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics, ensuring proper operation of EGMs and ETGs, and document activities. Qualifications include 21+, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, basic electronics knowledge, and willingness to travel to other facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and able to obtain gaming licenses as required.
• One year experience in assembly, testing and repair of electronic gaming devices, or six months experience plus gaming school certificate.
• Perform basic troubleshooting down to an assembly level.
• Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming devices.
• Basic understanding of network communication and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly.
• Able to read Light & Wonder schematics and service manuals.
• Travel may be required to other facilities within the department.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on EGMs (Electronic Gaming Machines), ETGs (Electronic Table Games), and related equipment according to standards.
• Ensure proper operations via diagnostic tests, software settings, and functional testing.
• Navigate Management Terminal daily to verify EGM status.
• Assemble and prepare accessories for installations per change orders.
• Complete accurate Incident Reports per standards.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and weekly logs.
• Adhere to Field Service standards, policies and safety procedures.
• Keep all tools and equipment in safe, working condition.
• Stay current with advisories and eLearning.
• Review customer issues with management and technical leads as they arise.
