Job summary

PlayAGS, Inc. seeks a Technical Operations Specialist to support online operations, focusing on game deployment, configuration across environments, and Level 1 operational support.

The role requires coordination with DevOps, Engineering, and account managers to manage release roadmaps and ensure accurate deployment details. The ideal candidate will have strong configuration skills, iGaming support experience, Jira/Confluence expertise, basic SQL, and excellent English communication.

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for tickets and docs.
• Experience with instant messaging and email support workflows.
• Basic SQL knowledge to read queries.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to manage multiple deployments and priorities.
• Cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech stakeholders.
• Understanding of gaming platform integrations and release cycles.
• Familiarity with UAT, staging, production environments.
• Exposure to API-based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy games across multiple environments.
• Manage game setup parameters in internal back-office systems.
• Deploy new game and engine client versions.
• Test games prior to deployment.
• Ensure correct environment mapping (endpoints, URLs, IPs).
• Resolve real-time issues during deployment.
• Coordinate release schedules with internal and external teams.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering to track issues.
• Work with account managers on release roadmaps.
• Support operator onboarding and technical setup.
• Serve as point of contact between internal teams, operators and providers.
• Document deployment timelines and requirements in Jira/Confluence.
• Provide Level 1 support and triage via chat, tickets, and email.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 promptly.
• Assist with analytics and reporting on game performance.
