Job Summary

The primary responsibility is to provide support and complete specified game day operational functions and tasks. The Game-Day Specialized Operations Assistant may support different functions depending on the need for the assigned game.

Responsibilities

• Completes operational functions and tasks assigned for each game dependent on game day needs, which may include photography, camera operator, statistician, etc.
• Adheres to all university, NCAA, and conference policies, rules, and regulations, particularly as they relate to the support of athletic events.

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of athletic equipment handling and facility maintenance
• First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Some college coursework or an undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
• Prior experience in event support, athletics, or customer service
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Physical stamina; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the event schedule; ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management, and presentation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related computer applications
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
