Job summary

Peoplemark is hiring Event Staff to support University of Indiana football and basketball games. You will assist with entry, usher guests, scan tickets, and help direct foot traffic while maintaining clean, orderly venues.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma, and can pass background and drug tests. You will greet guests warmly, offer directions, and ensure a positive guest experience through professional, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; Driver’s Record check may be required.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Allows appropriate entry into each venue, may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venue.
• Demonstrates understanding of policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events.
• Initiates a genuine, friendly greeting to guests on arrival and a sincere thank you on departure.
• Provides guests with directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Interacts with guests with a smile, natural speaking voice and friendly tone.
