Job summary

Island Hospitality Management in Herndon, VA is seeking a friendly Front Desk Host to greet guests, manage check-in/check-out, and provide information and assistance to guests and vendors. You will handle payments, maintain service standards, and prepare shift reports in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Check-in/Check-out guests professionally and courteously.
• Process payments according to hotel procedures and controls.
• Provide information and assistance to guests and vendors.
• Prepare shift reports for management at end of each shift.
• Follow cash, voucher, inventory, and receivables procedures.
• Maintain beverage/food service standards and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the front desk and answer questions.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and special arrangements.
• Operate POS and payment systems accurately.
• Maintain lobby appearance and assist with lobby refreshments.
• Complete daily reports and ensure compliance with procedures.
