Pacific University is seeking a focused FWS - Interlibrary Services Assistant II to support interlibrary loan operations in Tran Library. This student position emphasizes accuracy and confidentiality, processing materials and assisting Pacific patrons.

Purpose of Position: Processing library materials that will be sent to other libraries and Pacific patrons.

Typical daily tasks that require a high level of attention to detail include:
Training provided in all aspects of the position and supervisor support is available at all times. May require repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and arms; pulling books and journals off multi-level shelving; pushing book carts; operating scanner and other office equipment. Accommodations can be made as needed.
This is a work-study position that offers up to 6 hours a week between the hours of 8:30 am and 4 pm, Monday - Friday.
Length of Employment: Full academic year position. January is optional.
General Qualifications: Strong aptitude for detailed work, problem solving, and patience with repetitive tasks. Basic computer skills, ability to learn a variety of library-specific computer programs. High level of self-motivation, able to work independently and as a team member.
