Title of position: FWS - Collection Services Assistant (Electronic Resources) I
Department name and location: Collection Services Department, Tran Library, Forest Grove Campus
Purpose of position: To provide assistance to the Electronic Resources Librarian. With the Electronic Resources Librarian, you’ll be assisting in solving access issues and managing/organizing electronic resources.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Competencies to practice (core competencies gained though experience in this position):
Length of employment: Typically, Fall and Spring terms, with option to return for the following year based on performance and position availability. Sometimes, additional work during winter (J-term) or Summer may be available. Currently looking for candidates to work 8hrs per week, Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9am-5pm.
Wage rate: Library tier I: $16.80. In subsequent years of employment, based on performance and knowledge/duties, there may be an opportunity to advance to assistant II and III positions, with associated wage increases.
