Title of position: FWS-Library Acquisitions and Cataloging Assistant I
Department name and location: Collection Services Department, Tran Library, Forest Grove Campus
Purpose of position: To support library acquisitions, cataloging, and collection management functions of the library. This includes processing newly-acquired library materials, and helping library staff maintain physical and/or electronic materials at all stages of their lifecycle in the library collections.
Scheduling: This position works at the Tran Library, 6-10 hours per week, between Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm, as agreed upon by student employee and supervisor.

Length of employment: Typically, fall and spring terms, with option to return for the following year based on performance and position availability. Sometimes, additional work during winter (J-term) or summer may be available.
Supervisor name: Michelle Lenox
Wage rate: Library tier I: $16.80. In subsequent years of employment, based on performance and knowledge/duties, there may be an opportunity to advance to assistant II and III positions, with associated wage increases.
