Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. The program combines virtual and hands-on learning over 16 weeks, with guidance from your District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager and Store Manager coach.

You will develop leadership, merchandising, customer service and store operations skills while engaging in the structure and promotion-ready opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Retail management experience or CVS Supervisor experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred; relevant work experience may count in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support development toward a CVS Store Manager role through the SMIT program.
• Lead and engage team, and align with CVS values and policy.
• Engage colleagues to support the company purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Promote promotion readiness by actively partnering with leaders in learning experiences.
• Be flexible to relocate or transfer within the designated market as needed.
