Job summary

CVS Health is launching a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to develop future CVS Store Managers. The role blends virtual and hands-on learning through a structured 16-week curriculum with guidance from a District Leader, HR Partner, and Store Manager coach.

SMIT participants engage in leadership experiences, gain experience in customer care, merchandising, and store operations, and are prepared to assume store manager responsibilities in the designated market upon demonstrated

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor, is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a self-paced, 16-week SMIT training program to develop store leadership skills.
• Support and lead your store team consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Execute merchandising strategies to drive store sales growth and maintain profitability.
• Manage store inventory and assets to ensure availability and minimize loss.
