Job summary

Whole Foods Market offers a structured Career Development Associate Store Team Leader (CDASTL) program designed to prepare participants to become an Associate Store Team Leader. The CDASTL will support leadership in daily operations, focus on retail execution, and drive financial and safety performance while coaching team members and completing training.

Graduates of the program are promoted to an Associate Store Team Leader role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading a team in Retail/Culinary/Hospitality or related industries.
• Strong communicator with ability to train and lead teams.
• Ability to oversee store operations, merchandising, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and provide feedback to leadership.
• Drive store performance including sales, margin, labor, and promotions.
• Ensure customer service standards and safety/food safety compliance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership and store teams to align on priorities.
• Maintain knowledge of store operations, merchandising processes, and policies.
