Whole Foods Market offers a structured Career Development Associate Store Team Leader (CDASTL) program designed to train you for an Associate Store Team Leader role. You will engage in store operations, leadership development, and capstone projects while supporting daily retail performance.

Program requirements include cross-functional involvement, mentoring partnerships, and timely completion of curriculum milestones to graduate into a leadership position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading a team in Retail/Culinary/Hospitality or related industries.
• Proven track record as a high performing manager or team leader in retail or hospitality.
• Ability to drive results and support TMs and TLs to achieve high standards.
• Well-rounded knowledge of merchandising/retailing expectations.
• Strong judgment, communication and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Maintains understanding of store operations and merchandising processes.
• Oversees programs and initiatives including merchandising, marketing, quality assurance, training, and communications.
• Supervises daily operations and provides feedback to store leaders/teams on execution across sales, margins, labor, and promotions.
• Drives decision-making and team focus aligned with operations priorities.
• Drives exceptional customer service and maintains community relations.
• Analyzes and compiles necessary financial reports.
• Builds strong relationships with store and regional leadership.
• Demonstrates understanding of interdependencies between departments and functions.
• Leads on policy adherence and values within the organization.
