Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits in Marco Island, FL is launching a Leader in Training (LIT) program designed to develop tomorrow's store leaders. This hands-on role works closely with the Team Leader and District Manager to ensure strong store performance and progress through a structured 6-month timeline.

Participants train on operations, merchandising, inventory control, and leadership skills, with opportunities to advance to Assistant Store Leader or Store Leader upon program completion.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• At least 6 months of retail leadership experience or 2 years of education in Business Management or a related field and equivalent experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ABC’s Core Values with guests and team members every day.
• Complete all training within the LIT program, targeting completion in 6 months or less.
• Travel to other stores as planned by the District Manager or LIT Program Manager.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales and enhance store operations.
• Help ensure consistent visual and operational merchandising standards.
• Develop knowledge in inventory control, replenishment, and merchandising.
• Perform key management tasks such as opening/closing the store, cash control, and receiving shipments.
• Build supervisory skills including delegation, scheduling, training, performance management, and discipline.
