Dayton Freight Lines is offering a Maintenance/Shop Management Trainee Program designed for recent graduates or soon-to-be graduates. This 24‑week, hands-on experience integrates you into the team, broadens exposure across Dayton Freight's operations, and builds knowledge of the company, culture, and transportation industry.

The program also imparts leadership skills to prepare you for a future supervisory role within our shops.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
• Must be willing to relocate to any Service Center.
• Must be willing to work a rotation of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift (during training).

Responsibilities

• Learn the LTL Industry.
• Gain experience in the Operation.
• Develop Leadership skills.
• Develop Shop and Maintenance knowledge.
