Kroger Co. is seeking a Store Operations Leader to support the store manager in achieving performance targets and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

You will oversee merchandising, staffing, budgeting, and daily operations while coaching teams and driving store initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year as department manager or similar.
• Proven leadership and coaching in retail.
• Experience using KPIs and data to drive decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and drive goals.
• Proven track record of improving customer service and sales.

Responsabilidades

• Assist store manager and associates in creating a favorable customer shopping experience.
• Lead teams in planning and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans based on Associate Insight survey results.
• Identify store opportunities and implement timely solutions.
• Model high levels of customer service and resolve issues.
• Manage total store operations in the manager’s absence.
• Help achieve weekly, period, and annual sales and budgets.
• Collaborate with department managers to maximize sales and reduce shrink.
• Communicate performance and budget discussions to associates.
• Engage with local community organizations and union reps when applicable.
• Coach and supervise direct reports; provide performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with laws and enterprise policies.
