Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice, under a preceptor, and complete a comprehensive training roadmap. You will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations, SOPs, and patient care while developing readiness for Pharmacist responsibilities.

You will assist with safe prescription handling, patient counseling, immunizations where allowed, and support pharmacy team operations across the store.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must hold or be pursuing intern/technician licensure as required.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver immunizations and other services where allowed by law.

Skills

Education

ACPE accredited pharmacy college or school

Valid intern/technician licensure in progress
