Maximus in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Director, Future of Work to lead the strategy, design, and execution of the Future of Work function, shaping how roles, skills, and workforce models evolve with AI and automation.

This leader will align HR, technology, and operations, own the roadmap and operating model, govern budgets and resources, and build a high-performing team to deliver data-driven workforce solutions and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12+ years of relevant professional experience required.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams or a mid-sized function.
• Experience delivering enterprise-wide initiatives in a large, matrixed environment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for senior leaders.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, and priorities for a function or portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead the multidisciplinary Future of Work function, spanning work design, analytics, and AI/automation architecture.
• Own the Future of Work budget and resource planning, including prioritization of people, capabilities, and technology investments.
• Own and execute the Future of Work strategy and 1- to 3-year roadmap.
• Lead redesign of work, roles, and workforce models in response to AI, automation, and evolving business needs.
• Establish operating model, governance, decision frameworks, standards, and execution approach.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives across HR, Technology, and Operations, influencing senior leaders.
• Drive data-backed decision-making related to future-state roles and productivity.
• Define, monitor, and communicate measures for efficiency, capacity, productivity, adoption, and impact.
• Recommend and operationalize strategies and policies to advance objectives and influence stakeholders.
• Build and lead a high-performing team including workforce planning, coaching, and development.
