Job summary

Maximus seeks a Senior Director to lead the Future of Work function, shaping how work, roles, skills, and workforce models evolve with AI and automation. You will align HR, Technology, and Operations, own the roadmap, governance, and budget, and advise senior leaders on workforce strategy at scale.

You will build a high-performing team, drive data-driven decisions, and translate enterprise priorities into practical, scalable workforce solutions across multiple geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 12+ years of professional experience in leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-wide initiatives in a matrixed environment.
• Advanced leadership with workforce planning and cross-functional oversight.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills for senior leadership briefings.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities for scalable solutions.
• Working knowledge of AI, automation and their impact on work models.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, and priorities for a function.

Responsibilities

• Lead the multidisciplinary Future of Work function spanning HR, Technology, and Operations.
• Own the budget, resource planning, and governance for Future of Work.
• Define and execute a 1- to 3-year roadmap translating priorities into workforce solutions.
• Redesign work, roles, and workforce models in response to AI and automation.
• Establish operating model, governance, standards, and execution approach.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives and influence senior leaders across geographies.
• Lead data-backed decisions on roles, productivity, and automation opportunities.
• Define metrics to evaluate impact and inform priorities.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing team with career growth and learning.
