Job summary

Maximus seeks a Senior Director to shape the Future of Work, directing strategy, design, and execution across work design, analytics, and AI/automation. The role partners HR, Tech, and Operations to implement scalable, value-driven workforce solutions.

The incumbent will own the roadmap, operating model, and governance; build a high-performing team; and influence senior leaders on role design, workforce models, and technology feasibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 12 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams or a mid-sized function in a large, matrixed environment.
• Advanced leadership and management capability; experience building workforce plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the multidisciplinary Future of Work function, including work and role design, analytics, and AI/automation architecture.
• Own and manage the Future of Work budget and resource planning.
• Develop and execute a 1–3 year roadmap translating enterprise priorities into workforce solutions.
• Redesign work, roles, and models in response to AI and changing business needs.
• Establish operating model, governance, decision frameworks, and standards for execution.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across HR, Technology, and Operations and influence senior leaders.
