Job summary

Maximus seeks a senior leader to guide the Future of Work function in Tysons, VA. You will design roles, lead analytics on workforce transformation, and architect AI-enabled operating models across HR, Technology and Operations.

You will own the roadmap, budgets, and governance for enterprise-wide workforce initiatives, influencing senior leaders and building a high-performing team focused on scalable, data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 12+ years of professional experience required.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a large matrixed environment.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Working knowledge of AI, automation and their implications for work and workforce models.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and priorities for a function or portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead the multidisciplinary Future of Work function, spanning work design, analytics, and AI/automation architecture.
• Own the Future of Work budget and resource planning, prioritizing investments.
• Own and execute the Future of Work strategy and 1–3 year roadmap.
• Redesign work, roles and workforce models in response to AI and automation.
• Establish operating model, governance, standards and execution approach.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across HR, Technology and Operations across geographies, influencing senior leaders.
• Drive data-backed decisions on future-state roles, workforce models, productivity and automation opportunities.
• Define, monitor and communicate measures of efficiency, capacity, productivity, adoption and outcomes.
• Recommend strategies, processes, policies and operating plans and influence stakeholders to adopt them.
• Build and lead a high-performing team in workforce planning, hiring, coaching and development.
