Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is offering a 16-week Dining Services Manager in Training program to learn to manage and oversee dining services in a healthcare setting. The paid program combines hands-on experience with computer-based training to develop leadership and operations skills for patient-centered dining.

Participants will learn to manage meals, staff scheduling, inventory, and compliance with safety standards while delivering excellent resident and guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must obtain FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, and CDM/CFPP certifications during the development program.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a healthcare setting.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
