Job summary

Hertz Local Edition is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. The role offers exposure to sales, operations, fleet management, and finance processes in a fast-paced environment.

The starting wage is $33,280 per year or $16.00 per hour, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits as you progress into leadership roles within Hertz Local Edition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 20+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Learn fleet logistics, inventory control and assist with store operations.
• Prepare vehicles for customers and manage lot and cleaning duties.
• Learn finance processes and assist with deal completion and documentation.
• Shadow management, build leadership and coaching skills for future roles.
