Hertz Local Edition is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills and grow into a Branch Manager within 12–18 months. The role offers a path to leadership, hands-on experience in sales, operations, and finance, and a starting wage of $35,360 per year ($17/hour).

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license an absolute requirement.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience working in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Operations & Fleet Management: gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: assist with cleaning, lot management and customer service tasks.
• Finance & Administration: learn finance processes and assist with deal completion and reporting.
• Leadership Development: shadow and support management, build team leadership and scheduling skills.
